This page tells you exactly what events are coming up at The Ship, as well as anything that you may have missed out on.
The last in house beer festival we held was an American Craft Beer, from Monday 29th June until Sunday 5th July, so it coincided with the week of American Independence Day. As with all our festivals, it gave us the chance to showcase some new and exciting beers from across the pond, whilst not forgetting to make sure we had regular favourites on offer too.
A few of the new and exciting beers we had for the festival were Flying Dog’s Supertramp Tart Cherry Ale, which was also the first beer to sell out at the festival, as well as Sly Fox Grisette Working Class Ale. These were not the only new products though, as we had 2 beers from a brewery new to the shores of The Ship & Mitre, the fantastic Boulevard Brewing Company, based in Kansas, Missouri.
For the festival we added an additional 26 bottled/canned beers and 3 draught beers to our regular (ever changing) selection of 2 different Brooklyn beers on draught and 5 – 10 products in the Craft Beer Fridge.
The beer list can still be downloaded by clicking the link provided for those of you who never managed to grab a copy.
Don’t forget to swing by Ship in a Bottle in the weeks after a Beer Festival too, as any over stock is then sold via one of our two fantastic shops.
